A Guide to the Availability of Ultrasound Biomicroscopic Instrumentation

Paradigm

The commercial instrument based on our original design was developed in the research laboratories of Humphrey Instruments in Markham, Ontario under the direction of Manfred Freese. The company was originally owned by Allergan Corporation, and later was sold to Zeiss Instruments. Recently the manufacture of the instrumentation has been taken over by Paradigm Industries based in Utah. Visit their web site .

Innovative Imaging

A lower frequency instrument is available as an add on to the regular 10 MHz scanner developed by Innovative Imaging. It does not have the resolution of our original instrument, but does have the advantage of a relatively cheap price and a better image than that obtainable by using a 10 MHz scanner and a waterbath. Visit their web site .
